A child in Colombia needs you!
Over the past year, our St Martha international mission trips ministry has been in communication with the communities we serve in Colombia. We have learned that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact. The nation-wide lockdowns led to the collapse of Colombia’s street economy, eliminating the only source of income for many of these families.
We have asked them how our St Martha community can help them in these exceedingly difficult times. Families are asking us to help in any way we can to support the small monthly tuition that will keep their children in the Christian schools that our mission teams have supported over the years. This strong education, based on Christian principles, strong academics, individual leadership, and accountability is how their children will be able to follow their dreams and break free from the cycle of poverty in their communities.
In your role as a sponsor, you will be able to support your sponsored child and their family through encouraging communication, and prayer. You are building and nurturing a relationship with this child, and showing them that they are valued, loved, and cared about– even by someone who has yet to meet them!
Through your financial support, starting at $36.00 a month, your sponsorship will ensure a child living in poverty with no hope for change can attend school and truly better themselves and their families.
By becoming a sponsor, you are working alongside Conviventia’s team of teachers, psychologists, pastors, nurses, social workers, and more as we combat cyclical poverty together.
